StarHub’s Q3 profit falls 35.3% to S$26.2 million

[SINGAPORE] StarHub posted net profit of S$26.2 million for its third quarter ended Sep 30, down 35.3 per cent from S$40.4 million in the previous corresponding period.

The earnings decline was attributed to lower gross profit from segments with revenue decline, the telco said on Friday (Nov 14).

Revenue for Q3 2025 fell 4.3 per cent to S$550.3 million, from S$575.2 million in Q3 2024.

Mobile revenue declined 10.1 per cent to S$128.9 million, from S$143.3 million in the year-ago period.

Mobile post-paid and pre-paid average revenue per user (Arpu) fell to S$22 in Q3 this year from S$23 in Q3 2024, due to declines in roaming, international direct dialing, value-added services and excess data usage revenues. It was, however, an increase from S$20 in the previous quarter.

Broadband revenue was down 4.4 per cent at S$60.4 million, from S$63.2 million previously. Arpu in this segment also declined, from S$35 in Q3 2024 to S$34 in Q3 2025.
