Sharp cooldown Sunday with gusty winds

What We’re Tracking

  • Light winter mix possible

We’ll rapidly cool down tomorrow with a cold front Sunday morning bringing a few light, scattered showers and highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s. As temperatures plummet, there may be a brief changeover from rain to a light sleet/snow mix as Arctic air will rush in behind our front.

Gusty winds will also arrive behind the front with gusts close to 35 mph possible. With that cold north wind, the wind chill will tank on Sunday during the day. A wind advisory Sunday as the front moves through.

Mostly sunny and very cold on Monday with wind chills near zero in the morning and only in the 10s for the afternoon. The good news is that it’ll be a brief cooldown with temperatures toward midweek back around the middle 40s.
