Interview – Cosmopolitan
From the stage to the screen, your performances are captivating. What drew you to acting, and how has your background in dance and modeling influenced your approach to storytelling?
Thank you. That means so much. Honestly, I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of stepping into someone else’s world. Acting allows me to explore lives and emotions that can be different from my own, and in doing so, I get to express the many facets of myself that don’t always have room in everyday life. There’s something deeply thrilling and even healing about giving voice to those whose stories haven’t yet been told.
My background in dance and modeling has been a powerful foundation. Dance taught me how to tell a story without words – how movement, rhythm, and presence can communicate something deeply emotional.
Modeling gave me an awareness of image, posture, and aesthetic how to embody a mood or a persona fully. Together, they shaped a physical and emotional discipline that I now bring into every role. For me, storytelling is not just about what’s said, but everything that’s felt in between.
Your Instagram feed is a blend of high-fashion moments and candid glimpses into your life. How do you curate your online presence to reflect both your professional and personal sides?
Thank you! My Instagram is like a visual diary. It’s where my professional world meets my personal story. I see it as a mood board of my life: the fashion, the projects, the behind-the-scenes chaos, and those little unfiltered moments in between.
Curating it is less about perfection and more about intention. I want it to feel aspirational, of course, but also real. One day it might be a couture editorial shoot, the next it’s me in sweats with no makeup and a coffee in hand. Both are me. I think it’s important to share not just the polished end results, but also the in-between moments that make the journey feel relatable.
At the end of the day, I want people to feel inspired—but also like they’re getting to know me, not just the image. The glamour and the grounding go hand in hand.
Having graced runways in cities like New York, Paris, Los Angeles, and Berlin, how do you adapt your modeling style to different fashion cultures and audiences?
The more runway shows I walk, the more my repertoire evolves. Each show enriches my understanding of movement, presence, and the nuances of style. Every city offers its own distinctive rhythm and aesthetic. Paris often calls for an elevated elegance, a refined sophistication that borders on the regal, while Berlin exudes a
raw, edgy energy, brimming with experimental, boundary-pushing creativity.
I truly believe that every garment has a spirit, a message it wants to convey. My job is to become the vessel for that story to channel the essence of the piece and bring it to life. It’s a dance between discipline and intuition, and I absolutely love the challenge of it.
Ultimately, it all comes down to the designer’s creative vision. That vision dictates everything from how we walk and carry ourselves, to the pace, the facial expressions, and the overall energy we embody.

Your multilingual abilities are impressive. How do you navigate roles in different languages, and do you find that your language skills open doors to diverse characters and stories?
Thank you! Each language I speak carries with it not just words, but a rich cultural history, unique perspectives, customs, and ways of being that are deeply embedded in the language itself. It’s almost as if each language brings its own character that I get to step into when fully immersed. These aren’t just linguistic nuances but
emotional and cultural traits that can only be understood by someone who has lived within that culture, experienced it at its core.
I was fortunate enough to be raised in Hamburg, one of Germany’s most beautiful cities, by a mother who ensured that the traditions and values of her heritage were a constant presence in our home. Along with that, spending some of my high school years in the United States, early twenties in Australia and adulthood bicoastal between LA and NYC added a whole new layer to my understanding of the world.
The cultural richness I’ve experienced in these places has shaped me into a
well-rounded, globally aware individual, and that translates directly into my work as an actress. It’s about more than just language. It’s about truly understanding and internalizing the essence of each culture and bringing that authenticity to every role I play.
With your extensive training in acting and dance, how do you maintain a balance between honing your craft and staying true to your artistic instincts?
Oh, I love this question! It actually takes me back to one of my favorite coaches at Ivana Chubbuck Studios. After watching my scene work, he’d often say with a grin, “You know, you don’t always stick to the ‘rules’ we teach, but lucky for you, you’ve got this natural flair that most actors have to learn the hard way.”
That always stuck with me because it’s a perfect metaphor for how I approach both my training and my artistry. I love learning new techniques and expanding my toolkit as an actor, but I also rely on my instincts to guide me. I don’t impose a strict,
step-by-step method on myself. Instead, I tend to extract the parts of each technique that resonate with me, that make sense in the moment.
When preparing for a role, the process can vary based on the character’s circumstances and experiences. In cases where I struggle to find personal relatability, I lean on the tools I’ve learned in class. But when the circumstances come more naturally, I often pull directly from my own imagination, empathy and experiences.
Ultimately, it’s a balance of studied techniques, life experiences, relatability and imagination that steers my creative ship.
Your work spans various genres and mediums. Is there a particular type of role or project you’re eager to explore next?
Absolutely. After making the shift from lead roles in stage productions especially period pieces and musicals to film, I’ve found myself deeply drawn to thrillers.
There’s something incredibly exciting about narratives that slowly unravel, revealing complex, multidimensional characters and unexpected twists. I love roles where not everything is handed to the audience – where some layers are shown, and others are left for the viewer to uncover.
As an actress, I’m especially passionate about portraying women who’ve turned their pain, their disadvantages whether personal, cultural, or generational into a kind of superpower. Women who are unapologetically themselves, driven by purpose, with sharp instincts and a great heart, but who can absolutely hold their own when challenged. Those are the characters I gravitate toward. They’re rich, empowering, and real.
For my next role, I’ll be stepping into the world of espionage, playing a secret agent in a spy thriller. What I’m actively manifesting more of are action-based roles. More physicality, stunts and fight choreography. I’m ready to dive deeper into that worldand explore how storytelling shifts when the body speaks just as loudly as the dialogue.

Beyond the spotlight, what are some passions or hobbies that keep you grounded and inspired?
Spending quality time with myself, my family, and my closest friends is everything to me. Whether it’s a good workout, helping my mom in the garden, cooking together, hiking through the Californian hills, or just a walk around the block with the dog.I truly cherish those simple, soul-nourishing moments.
I’m also a huge fan of exploring plant based dishes and cuisines, traveling, enjoying soft jazz, paired with golden-pink sunsets, laughter and playful banter – that’s my kind of magic.
While we are at it, eating chocolate is a serious passion of mine. Give me a piece of dark chocolate, a cozy blanket, and a quality film, and I’m completely content.
