Kelsea Ballerini’s Etro Dress Nods to Her Song ‘Patterns’ on the Grammys 2026 Red Carpet
Kelsea Ballerini glittered from head to toe at the 2026 Grammy Awards on Sunday night in Los Angeles.
“I wanted to have a dress that feels very patterned, because we are nominated for ‘Patterns,’” Ballerini said of her dress on the Grammys red carpet. “I’m obsessed with it.” Ballerini’s form-fitting halter dress consisted of an all-over shimmering embellished design, comprised of elements from labels Etro, Sabyasachi jewelry, and Jimmy Choo heels.

Ballerini has a penchant for taking quintessential country style and revamping certain elements with a contemporary edge. At the 2025 Grammys, the singer opted for a look from Tamara Ralph’s fall 2024 couture collection, complete with a little black dress with a plunging neckline and dramatic white satin shawl.
Ballerini often collaborates with styling team Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, who also regularly works with Jennifer Lopez and Kerry Washington. Back in 2020, Ballerini spoke with WWD about how she defines her style, calling herself a “Gucci girl next door.”

“I grew up loving music, but I never knew that you could just choose to be a singer like that. I was from a small town in Knoxville so you grow up to be a vet or something that you see other people doing around you,” Ballerini told WWD. “And until I saw a girl named Taylor move to Nashville, I didn’t know that I could do that.”
The singer is nominated for Best Contemporary Country Album (“Patterns”) for the 2026 Grammys. The nod marks Ballerini’s sixth nomination from the voting members of The Recording Academy. The singer earned her first nod at 59th Grammys for Best New Artist.

The 68th annual Grammy Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah for the sixth consecutive year, honor the best music and artists from 2025. Held at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena on Sunday night, the 2026 Grammys feature performances by Lady Gaga, Addison Rae and Sabrina Carpenter, among others. Bad Bunny, Chappell Roan, Doechii and Billie Eilish are among the high-profile nominees for Record of the Year. The ceremony will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+ at 8 pm ET.
