Algeria: Luca Zidane withdraws from the Fennecs camp due to injury

It’s a real injury crisis this November for Algeria’s Fennecs. This time, Luca Zidane has been forced to withdraw due to injury.

After making his debut in October, Luca Zidane was once again called up by Vladimir Petkovic for this November camp. However, the goalkeeper won’t be staying with the Fennecs any longer as he has picked up an injury and is now ruled out.

“Goalkeeper Luca Zidane is out for both friendlies against Zimbabwe (November 13) and Saudi Arabia (November 18). The Granada CF shot-stopper is suffering from a groin injury picked up with his club and has been permitted to leave the camp. To replace him, the national coach has called up CS Constantine keeper Zakaria Bouhalfaya,” the press release states.
