Allbirds Launches ‘Its Warmest Release Yet’ With the New Kiwi Collection

Allbirds is promising to deliver its coziest, warmest offerings yet with its new Kiwi Collection. Launching on Tuesday, the brand said this is “its warmest launch yet,” with shoes that provide soft, feel-good comfort every day.

The new Kiwi Boot.

The Kiwi Collection features three new silhouettes, including the Kiwi Boot, Kiwi Clog and the Kiwi Slipper. The new shoe styles offer the comfort of indoor footwear, while the soles make them translate to the outdoors with ease.

Each pair in the Kiwi Collection is made with recycled wool felt uppers, plush wool-blend lining, and all three styles come in dark camel and medium gray colors. The new collection also includes Allbirds’ signature SweetFoam midsole, which aims to give the “walking-on-clouds” feel with each step.

The Kiwi Slipper.

The SweetFoam midsole is made from sugarcane, which is a waste-free material. The byproducts of crushing sugarcane are used as energy and fertilizer, and the sugar left over after crushing is recycled into SweetFoam, which is the world’s first carbon-negative midsole.

The Kiwi Boot features an ankle-boot design, a round toe and a slight platform on the sole. The Kiwi Slipper is a slip-on design, with wool lining both on the sole and along the top line of the shoe, providing ultra coziness throughout the foot. The slippers feature a round toe design and a dark gray felt upper with an elevated platform, making them suitable for wearing outside.

The Kiwi Clog.

The Kiwi Clog follows the same silhouette as the upper on the Kiwi Boot, except it features a slip-on, backless mule design. There’s a wool lining inside and it sits atop a thick, sneaker-like platform sole. The Kiwi Collection also introduces Allbirds’ new Relaxed category, expanding beyond sneakers into effortlessly cozy, all-day styles.

Earlier in the year, Allbirds chief executive officer Joe Vernachio told analysts in an earnings call that it was an “exciting time” at the company. The CEO noted that its development center in Vietnam was set to deliver new concepts, materials and prototypes in the back half of 2025 and into 2026. “Our fall 2025 lineup will bring a much broader range of products and colors than the year before, and we can’t wait to get them on people’s feet,” Vernachio said.

Allbirds’ Kiwi Collection is now available for purchase.
