Israel calls on northern Gaza residents to evacuate

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Thursday called on civilians in several areas in the northern Gaza Strip to evacuate immediately, saying “terrorist organizations” continue to operate there and so the IDF will expand its offensive there.

“Terrorist organizations continue their subversive activity in the region, and therefore the IDF will expand its offensive activity in the areas where you are present to destroy the capabilities of the terrorist organizations,” the IDF’s Arabic speaking spokesman, Avichay Adraee wrote on X, in Arabic.

Writing late on Thursday evening. he said the areas are now considered a combat zone and that residents “have been warned several times.” He said they should evacuate to the west.

The post included a map with arrows pointing to the attack areas as well as the relocation zones.
