Jennifer Garner Does Office Core in Gianvito Rossi’s Timeless Cara Pumps for Apple TV Day

Jennifer Garner shared some inspiration for office dressing while at the Apple TV Press Day on Tuesday. The event took place at the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles, and the actress walked the carpet wearing a timeless and classic shoe style, with her opting for a pair designed by Gianvito Rossi.

Garner selected the Gianvito Rossi Cara ankle-strap pump. The Cara heels are crafted from black patent lamb leather. They are a pointed-toe style with a low-cut vamp that creates a d’Orsay silhouette, with the sides cut away to reveal the arch of the foot. The d’Orsay effect enhances the shoe’s appearance by adding softness to the style.

Two straps travel from the middle of the foot along the sides and connect to the dainty ankle strap, which is embellished with the designer’s signature Ribbon buckle in gold. The pumps feature a tall stiletto heel measuring 115mm, or approximately 4.5 inches. The Cara pumps are available on the Gianvito Rossi website for $950 and are also offered in a glossy red version.

The “13 Going on 30” star created an office-ready look by pairing the leather heels with a black knee-length pencil skirt. She paired it with a Saint Laurent tie-neck silk crêpe de chine in the fashion house’s algae green color. The actress styled the long-sleeve blouse by tucking it into the high-waist skirt. She kept her accessories minimal, wearing a gold ring and matching earrings, and wore her hair in soft, loose waves.

Garner was in attendance at the Apple TV Press Day to celebrate the return of her show “The Last Thing He Told Me,” which she stars in and executive produces. The mystery-thriller show is based on Laura Dave’s novel of the same name. In the show, Garner plays Hannah Hall, a woman who builds an unexpected relationship with her 16-year-old stepdaughter while searching for the truth and investigating why her husband has mysteriously disappeared. After a successful first season, the series is returning to the streaming service with season two on Feb. 20.
