Michael Jordan’s Limited-edition ‘Black Pack’ Air Jordan 14 Comes Out This Weekend — but It Won’t Be Easy to Get
Nike, Inc.'s Jordan Brand is releasing a premium limited-edition 'Black Pack' rendition of the Air Jordan 14 Retro Low sneaker with ostrich leather.

After months of teasers, the four-sneaker Air Jordan “Black Pack” is almost here.
The limited-edition launch will be led in October by two models, the Air Jordan 14 Retro Low SP and Air Jordan 16 Retro SP, the former of which just received a fresh batch of official Nike, Inc. e-commerce images.
The Air Jordan 14 Retro Low SP Black Pack features a Black/Off Noir colorway, which translates to a nearly fully blacked-out version of Michael Jordan’s 14th signature sneaker, the last model he wore while playing with the Chicago Bulls. The mostly black design is balanced with gray accents on the tongue and heel branding, on the sneaker’s signature Ferrari-inspired Jumpman badge and across the midsole, which has been given a subtle glitter finish.
Also unique to this Air Jordan 14 Retro Low SP and the wider Black Pack group is its exotic animal inspiration. The lateral and medial side panels of the Air Jordan 14 feature a faux ostrich leather texture, giving the sports car-themed design an atypical premium edge. This is paired with a black suede toe box and a soft nylon collar.

Other animal-inspired textures on the Black Pack include faux snakeskin on the Air Jordan 15, faux elephant leather on the Air Jordan 16 and faux stingray on the collar of the Air Jordan 17 Low.
The Air Jordan 14 Retro Low SP Black Pack (style code IZ3884-001) will be released Saturday exclusively from Nike Nbhd retailers for $240 alongside the Air Jordan 16 Retro SP Black Pack (IZ2586-001). At this point, it does not appear that the limited-edition set will be released from Nike’s Snkrs platform, but readers shouldn’t rule out the possibility of a surprise shock drop. The remainder of the Black Pack collection, the Air Jordan 15 Retro SP and Air Jordan 17 Retro Low SP, will be released on Nov. 7.
