Nicole Kidman Revives Her ‘Babygirl’ Era With a Suited Moment at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

The world is her buffet. No one felt more “like Nicole” than the namesake of Adéla’s song “Nicole Kidman” at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Sunday at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles, harkening back to her “Babygirl” era with a suited look courtesy of Jean Paul Gaultier.

The Oscar-winning actress wore a look from the label’s fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection, a suited style complete with a crisp white button-down collared dress shirt, high-waisted pencil skirt with garter-inspired seams and a black and pink striped tie.
Paired with pointed toe pumps and a Chanel handbag, Kidman’s look revived her “Babygirl” era, merging an office siren sensibility with streamlined style cues. The actress’ look was curated by stylist Jason Bolden.

Curated by Jean Paul Gaultier creative director Duran Lantink, the fall 2026 collection, which debuted last March as part of Paris Fashion Week, was a “shapely tailored fall lineup,” Lily Templeton wrote in WWD’s review.
“Long story short, the idea of ‘madame masculinity’ proved to be one of many fecund directions Lantink explored in a succession of compelling collisions of classic suits, lingerie, ski gear and Western — not all at the same time — pushing body proportions just enough to make things interesting,” Templeton wrote.

“Throughout, there were raised shoulders, sometimes floating a full handspan from the body underneath; jutting breasts and shapely derrières abstracted to an S-shaped outline, and orbiting ringed structures were placed anywhere between the neck and the upper thigh.”
The 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned to Los Angeles on Sunday for the first time since 2007. The lingerie brand revived its annual runway show in 2024 following a six-year hiatus.

For the 2026 edition, models Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Anok Yai and Alex Consani hit the runway in vibrant designs from the brand. There were also performances by Megan Thee Stallion, Tate McRae, Megan Moroney and Katseye. The show marked the return of the Victoria’s Secret’s Fantasy Bra, which Kylie Jenner modeled. Amina Muaddi served as the official footwear partner and Swarovski as the official crystal sponsor.
