Nike’s Classic Air Force 1 Gets Covered in ‘Joker’ Colors for a New Style That’s Available Right Now
Nike has a new patent leather Air Force 1 sneaker that's being compared to the Batman supervillain the Joker and it's available now. Find out more.

If the recent “Joker” Air Max 95 Big Bubble Premium sneakers were too subtle for your supervillain tastes, Nike just released a new spin on its classic Air Force 1 which is even more on-the-nose in its color palette.
Available now is a new Air Force 1 Low ’07 LV8 style in a Bright Cactus/Dark Iris/Black color combination with patent leather overlays. Essentially a two-tone style with a Bright Cactus green leather base and glossy black patent leather, the pair’s undeniable Joker look is heightened by its choice of Dark Iris purple shoelaces.
The purple shade also appears on the branding of the Air Force 1’s woven tongue label, resulting in an unsurprising comparison to the villainous mastermind. And for those who prefer a more toned-down look, the sneaker also comes packaged with alternate waxed cotton shoelaces in black.
This just-released “Joker” look isn’t the only recent patent leather Air Force 1 that has been compared to a famous comic book character. To kick off November, Nike issued a premium Air Force 1 in full patent leather which was likened to Iron Man thanks to its Gym Red/Bright Ceramic/Red Burgundy Crush/University Gold color combination.
It’s worth noting that none of the aforementioned comic book-inspired Air Force 1s are official collaborations and instead appear to be loosely themed after the characters through their use of color. Furthermore, Nike does not make any explicit mention of comic book inspiration in the marketing materials for the sneakers.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low ’07 LV8 “Joker” sneakers are available now from nike.com and select Nike Sportswear retailers for $125. The style code for the Bright Cactus/Dark Iris/Black pair is JA3766-357. Readers can find a full look at the new colorway in the gallery above.
