Lafayette 148 Opens First Dallas Boutique at NorthPark Center, Expanding Presence in Key Texas Market
Offering personalized service and exclusive designs, the store is part of strategic growth in one of Lafayette 148's top five markets.

Lafayette 148 will open its first Dallas boutique at NorthPark Center Tuesday, establishing a dedicated presence in the 30-year-old brand’s top five markets.
The 3,336-square-foot boutique offers established Dallas clients — many of whom shopped Lafayette 148 in other cities — a closer connection to its distinctly New York sensibility, luxury craftsmanship and personal service.
The store, which marks the brand’s 13th U.S. freestanding boutique, is situated near Versace, Coach, Rimowa and Gianvito Rossi within NorthPark Center.
“Our brick-and-mortar strategies focused on markets with demonstrated demand and meaningful long-term potential,” said Peter Herink, chief commercial officer of Lafayette 148. “Dallas meets both criteria, while the strengths of our Houston business gives us added confidence in the opportunity across Texas.”
Reflecting the vision of creative director Emily Smith, the boutique pairs clean lines and warm materials with intimate spaces for one-on-one styling. The interior includes a large centerpiece table by Yucca Stuff, the Austin-based studio founded by Daniel Morrison, and a custom sculptural vase developed by the visual team at the brand’s Brooklyn headquarters.

At the opening, Lafayette 148 NorthPark will feature its fall 2026 collection, including exclusive leather colorways created for Dallas, precise tailoring and signature white shirts informed by the archives and three decades of craftsmanship.
At the new store, stylists will work one-on-one with clients to build wardrobes for work, travel and special occasions, guided by an understanding of individual style and the craftsmanship and versatility of each piece. Personal communication and digital touchpoints are expected to extend that relationship beyond the boutique.
The Dallas opening builds on several years of double-digit retail growth and the continued strength of direct-to-consumer, the company’s fastest-growing sector.
“As Dallas has become an important market for Lafayette 148, opening our first boutique here gives us the opportunity to build a more direct relationship with the clients who have supported us,” said Deirdre Quinn, cofounder and chief executive officer of Lafayette 148. “Expanding our network of owned boutiques is central to how we’re approaching growth in key markets, and NorthPark is a natural next step.”

Lafayette 148 has a growing presence in Texas, following the opening of its first store in the state at Houston’s Galleria in 2022. Houston has since become one of the brand’s fastest-growing markets for the past two years, while Dallas has long represented an important customer base without a dedicated local store.
In Dallas, Lafayette 148 is available at Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, as well as other speciality stores, and those relationships will continue, Herink said. “Dallas is one of our top five markets, with an established clientele whose relationship with the brand extends across our retail partners, boutiques and digital business. NorthPark builds on that foundation, supporting our priority of meeting our customer wherever she is,” he said.
